TGIC FREE matting Outdoor non-TGIC matting solutions

　　Outdoor polyester/TGIC system matting is more mature,while the HAA curing system matting is more difficult,we have found a TGIC FREE matting solution(outdoor non-TGIC system matting)after 2 years of research and exploration,which can achieve the gloss adjustment(2%-50%)from no light→matte→semi-gloss,and mechanical properties,surface levelling,and the adaptability of the polyester are relatively good.Adjustment of gloss in three segments:

　　1.No light interval,gloss 2%-10%,1#base formula remains unchanged,with HAA curing agent A100 additive increase to adjust the gloss.

　　2.matt interval,gloss 10%-30%,2#basic formula remains unchanged,with matting auxiliary material B110 additive amount to adjust the gloss.

　　3.Semi-gloss range,gloss 20%-50%,3#basic formula remains unchanged,with HAA curing agent A100 adding amount to adjust the gloss.

 TGIC FREE matting, gloss adjustment method:

 1. No light interval, gloss 2%-10%, 1 # base formula remains unchanged, with HAA curing agent A100 additive increase to adjust the gloss. The reference formula is as follows:

 Gloss adjustment method：

　　Fixed outdoor polyester and G570A ratio of 4:1 unchanged(fixed 1#base formula unchanged),through the HAA curing agent A100 additive increase to adjust the gloss,with the A100 additive from 0%to 1.6%,the gloss from 2%to 10%,the surface finesse gradually become better.

　　It should be noted that,as the amount of HAA continues to increase,greater than 1.5%of the gloss will continue to rise,but the surface levelling will become poor,gloss stability is not good.

 2.Matte range, gloss 10%-30%, 2 # The basic formula remains unchanged, with matting auxiliary material B110 additive increase to adjust the gloss. The reference formula is as follows:

 Note: B110 is a matting aid.

 Gloss adjustment method：

Fixed outdoor polyester and G570A ratio of 4:1 unchanged, HAA curing agent dosage of 1.3% unchanged (i.e., fixed 2 # base formula unchanged), through the matting auxiliary material B110 additions to adjust the luster, with the B110 dosage of 2% to 10%, the luster of the increase from 8% to 26%, the surface is fine and flat, good mechanical properties.

It should be noted that the 2 # base formula in the HAA dosage of about 1.3% is better, A100 dosage is too high will lead to poor mechanical properties.

White system gloss to be higher than the black a little, at this time 2 # standard formulation of HAA dosage can be reduced from 1.3% to 1% to reduce the gloss and the same as the black.

 3.Semi-gloss range, gloss 20%-50%, 3 # base formula unchanged, with HAA hardener A100 additive increase to adjust the gloss. The reference formula is as follows:

 Note: NH7630 is a medium hydroxyl polyester (if low hydroxyl polyester is used, the surface will have dark lines); B1530 is a hydroxyl polyester curing agent.

 Gloss adjustment method：

 The 3# base formula uses two curing systems, one is outdoor HAA polyester/G570A and the other is hydroxyl polyester/B1530, which has the advantage of very good surface levelling and fineness, like skin feeling. Fixed 3 # base formula unchanged, through the HAA curing agent additive increase to adjust the gloss, HAA additive 0.5% increased to 1.5%, gloss from 20% to 50%.

White system gloss to be higher than black, the same formula white gloss to be higher than black about 10 degrees, HAA additive difference of about 0.3%.

The polyurethane formulation system gloss by the baking temperature has a greater impact, please control the temperature is the same.

 G570A Acrylic Matting Resin

TGIC FREE matting solution (outdoor non-TGIC system matting) plays a major role in the G570A acrylic matting curing resin, which cures HAA polyester resins and produces matting, supplemented with a small amount of HAA curing agent, it is relatively easy to adjust the luster, through the above three methods, the experimental luster adjusted from 2% -50%. Provides a solution for outdoor TGIC FREE matting (outdoor non-TGIC system matting). Provides a solution for places where TGIC cannot be used, or where products exported to the EU explicitly require that TGIC cannot be used.
